- Campaign Manager // Finance Director

Our team with 25+ years experience in campaigns are managing over 6 Congressional races nationwide; including but not limited to Northeast, West Coast, Mid-East Atlantic, Southeast and a Southern race. In addition to a Minnesota Senate Race. And that's just to start 2026!
The positions below start with our races in DC and Minnesota which are staffing up immediately; but we'll have other races nationally to follow, so even if you're not in DC or MN, please send your resumes for potential future races.

CM/Finance Director Responsibilities
- Overseeing every aspect of a congressional campaign on the ground— this is NOT a remote position.
- Assistance in staff hiring and management.
- Assist with fundraising, call time, staff and operation until a Finance Director or Call Time Manager can be hired.
- Overseeing communication staff and operation.
- The Campaign Manager will also be the primary staffer for candidate relationship, staffing, and communication.
- The Campaign Manager reports to both the Candidate and the consulting team.
- PLUS Finance Director Responsibilities.
Finance Director Specific Responsibilities
This could potentially be a remote position for the right person.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance team and execute a finance plan to meet ambitious fundraising goals.
- Draft and regularly update a comprehensive finance plan that outlines total fundraising goals, income by tool and sets weekly, monthly, and quarterly projections.
- Plan, execute, and maintains high-yielding events and call-time programs.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with donors, partners, and committees.
- Regularly staff the candidate at fundraisers and other political events in the district.
- Ensure regular and accurate maintenance of finance records, trackers, and databases.
- Research and target prospective donors as well as steward existing donors.
- Collaborate and communicate with senior staff on fundraising matters for cash-flow conversations.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and willingness to ask questions.
- Other duties as assigned by the Candidate or Campaign Manager, based on the needs of the campaign.
Interviews will be set on a first come, first serve basis until the position is filled.

Requirements
Qualifications for Campaign Manager Position:
- Candidates must have at least one cycle as a Campaign Manager or two cycles as a Senior and Junior Senate/Congressional Campaign Staffer.
- Candidates also must have significant experience with managing staff as well as principle management.
- This position will require you to work in-person with the candidate in Washington D.C. or Minnesota and virtually with PTGR Staff. Housing is not provided.
- Salary is a firm $5,000 per month.

Qualifications for Finance Director Position:
- At least 2 cycles of campaign experience in a highly-competitive legislative or congressional campaign; in a senior finance role for at least one of those cycles.
- Experience managing candidate call time and planning high-dollar fundraising events.
- Proficiency in G-Suite, NGP, ActBlue, and familiarity with call time software (e.g. Calltime.ai) as well as federal campaign finance law.
- Strong interpersonal skills, very well organized, and extremely detail oriented.
- Professional demeanor and willingness to adapt to a changing environment.
- Previous experience managing staff is preferred, this position will have a call time manager who is currently part time.
- Managing some of the principle call time as needed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work a campaign’s irregular hours, including some nights and weekends.
- Access to cell phone, laptop, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
