Job Description

The Opportunity

We are looking for a resourceful and analytical professional to join our Business Development team in Japan. This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 -4 years of experience who enjoys deal evaluation, market analysis, proposal creation and supporting the early-stage hotel and serviced apartment development or rebranding process. You will work closely with the senior team to assess project opportunities, support commercial negotiations, and contribute to the strategic expansion of Ascott's portfolio across Japan.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the business development and proposal process - from market research, financial analysis to liaison with technical support team.
• Conduct feasibility studies, financial modelling, and site/project assessments as part of the business proposals for clients.
• Prepare client proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams ( revenue, operations, design & technical) to ensure alignment and a smooth project transition.
• Assist in evaluating new management/franchise opportunities across hotel, serviced residences, co-living, and branded residences.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and macroeconomic factors impacting hospitality and real estate in Japan.

• サービスレジデンス,コリビング,ブランドレジデンスの新しい管理 / フランチャイズの機会を探索し評価する..
• 日本におけるホスピタリティ業界および不動産業界に影響を及ぼす業界動向,競合動向,マクロ経済要因を分析• モニタリングする

Job Requirement

• At least 2 to 4 years of experience in business development, real estate investment, feasibility analysis, or a related function.
• Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with experience in financial modelling and project assessment.
• Ability to communicate in either English or Japanese. Bilingual in both Japanese and English would be an advantage but not a must.
• C onduct market research and prepare financial models .
• Effective presenter with the ability to prepare clear, concise reports and recommendations.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, less structured, dynamic and versatile environment.
