Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Finance domain. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between financial business requirements and IT solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and driving system enhancements that enable smarter decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance, IT, and other business stakeholders to elicit, document, and manage business requirements.
• Analyze financial processes (e.g. accounting, reporting, FP&A, compliance) and identify areas for automation or optimization.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications and user stories.
• Develop process maps, data flow diagrams, and financial models to support solution design.
• Assist in the implementation of financial systems (ERP, Treasury, etc.), liaising between technical teams and end-users.
• Support testing, training, and change management activities for new finance tools and processes.
• Ensure that solutions comply with applicable financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on progress, risks, and milestones.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Business Analyst, ideally in the Finance domain.
• Strong understanding of financial processes (e.g. GL, AP/AR, budgeting, financial reporting).
• Experience working on ERP systems, financial reporting tools, or Treasury solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into technical and business requirements.
• Familiarity with process modeling tools and techniques (e.g. BPMN, Visio).
• Relevant certifications (CBAP, CBA, Finance qualifications, etc.) are a plus.
