Description
Under the strategic and operational guidance of the Director of Financial Operations, the Budget Analyst position supports all departments within the University's Finance Division and collaborates with all departments across the University. The role is responsible for the prompt, thorough, and accurate analysis and processing of University-wide budget activities. Additionally, this position provides guidance in emerging technologies, projects, and training within the finance administrative areas.Duties and Responsibilities:
The Budget Analyst supports the effective and timely analysis of all University financial information in alignment with the University's Strategic Plan. Responsibilities include analysis of all university personnel and non-personnel budgets, capital budgets, restricted funds, and funds for strategic initiatives. The Budget Analyst identifies trends and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Field of Study: Finance, Accounting or related Business Field
1-3 years of related experience
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree
Licenses and Certificates:
Salary Range:
60,000 - 82,500
Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt
Physical Demands: General Office Environment
