Southwest Vermont Regional Technical School District Job Title: School Store and Credit Union Manager Location: Southwest Tech, Bennington, VT School Year: 2025-2026 Employment Type: Full-Time, 35 hours per week, (School Year Position) Hours: 7:00 am - 2:30 pm (7.5 hours/day inclusive of lunch) Salary: Per ESP Collective Bargaining Agreement ($25.96 - $29.42/hour) Application Deadline: April 17th, 2026 Qualifications and Preferences: Ability to pass a fingerprint-supported background check & DCF abuse and neglect check High school diploma or GED Competent in using computers Previous banking experience preferred Experience working in retail cash handling and inventory management Strong organizational and time management skills Previous experience working with adolescents Effective communication skills for interacting with students and staff Customer service experience Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40lbs Store Manager Duties: Inventory maintenance and control Customer service Uphold safety standards Process invoices for payment Purchase products using the Healthy Food Guidelines Work in cooperation with the Business Management/Accounting & Finance Program Teacher to supervise and train student workers Support positive student behavior and engagement Clean store throughout the school day to create a welcoming environment Prepare and deliver custom orders on campus (i.e. coffee, tea, bottled water, etc.) Use point of sale system Responsible for preparing daily deposits generated from school store Ability to work with various vendors Other related duties as assigned by Superintendent/Director or designee Credit Union Duties: Train students to work at student run branch of Heritage Family Credit Union In coordination with credit union employee, supervision of students Maintain financial documents for credit union Attend trainings at main branch concerning credit union management Customer service Maintain confidentiality How to Apply: Send resume, cover letter, and three professional references via email, online or regular mail to: Southwest Vermont Regional Technical School District Attention: Human Resources 321 Park Street, Bennington, VT 05201 Email: HR@swtech.org Apply online: www.SchoolSpring.com Job # 5596012 Southwest Tech is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
