What You’ll Do:
Analyze and interpret healthcare benefit data to identify trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with HR, finance, and external vendors to manage benefit plans and ensure compliance
Support annual open enrollment, employee communications, and benefit education initiatives
Evaluate plan performance and recommend strategic changes to enhance value and efficiency
Stay current on healthcare regulations, market trends, and best practices
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience in benefits analysis, preferably in the healthcare sector
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement

Requirements
Education:
Required:
Graduate from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, personnel or human resource administration or a minimum of 10 to 15 years of Health and Welfare Benefits experience.

Required:
Three to five years of appropriate work experience with knowledge of comprehensive benefits programs and strength in administering Leave of absence programs.
Must have experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Internet. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of benefits and leave administration. Specifically, knowledge about FMLA polices, Short Term Disability and state specific leave requirements.
Present him/herself in a professional manner and work as a liaison with different levels of personnel internal and external to the organization and demonstrate integrity when interacting with all customer populations. He/she must demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
The Benefits Leave Analyst must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time, be able to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines. The Benefits Leave Analyst must maintain confidentiality in all matters and must promote teamwork in intra/interdepartmental relationships.
Preferred:
Demonstrated work experience in hospital or healthcare preferred. Working knowledge of PeopleSoft software.
