This is an ONSITE position located in Orlando, FL. SECRET Clearance Required.
NCC is seeking an Audio Visual Lead to support an upcoming contract (*contingent upon award*). This role will serve as the primary point of contact for the Government in the resolution of all technical and personnel issues related to presentation and audiovisual services. This position provides hands-on leadership while actively participating in the delivery of audio, video, and presentation support required under the contract.
The AV Lead is an integral member of the operational workforce and is responsible for supporting command events, briefings, conferences, and productions through the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual systems. This position is not limited to coordination functions and requires direct technical involvement.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government in the resolution of all technical and personnel issues within the presentations and audiovisual service area.
- Lead and actively participate in the setup, operation, and breakdown of audio and video recording equipment for command events, briefings, conferences, and productions.
- Operate audio, video, and presentation systems during live events, ensuring high-quality sound, video, and display performance.
- Provide post-production support, including video and audio editing, closed captioning, and file formatting in accordance with Government requirements.
- Design, implement, install, operate, and maintain audiovisual services and systems, including standard A/V systems installed in multi-purpose conference rooms, mobile cart-based systems, and personal office systems.
- Support and operate video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and other DoD-approved teleconferencing tools.
- Research, design, plan, develop, implement, install, modify, and maintain audiovisual systems and related infrastructure.
- Maintain audiovisual logs, equipment records, and usage documentation, and coordinate event schedules with Government stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audiovisual system issues in real time to minimize disruption to meetings and events.
- Coordinate with hosting sites when meetings require traditional video conference bridges or external connectivity.
- Ensure audiovisual services and systems comply with applicable DoD, USN, and security policies and standards.
- Coordinate with the Site Manager and other service leads to ensure audiovisual support aligns with mission priorities and schedules.
- Maintain professional customer service standards when supporting senior leadership, staff, and external participants.
Minimum Requirements
- Active Secret government security clearance.
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in Audio Visual services within a DoD or federal government environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Broadcasting or related field.
- In lieu of degree: Four (4) additional years of relevant experience beyond the require experience may substitute for the degree.
- Strong knowledge of audio visual systems, presentation technologies and video production workflow.
- Experience supporting live events, briefings, and mission-critical presentations.
- Ability to troubleshoot audio, video and connectivity issues quickly and effectively.
- Familiarity with DoD-approved video conference and collaboration platforms.
- Ability to support multiple concurrent events and presentations.
- Strong organizational and scheduling coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Previous experience within the Navy or supporting Naval programs.
