Service Line Overview
The AI Lead will be responsible for designing, delivering, and scaling AI solutions for corporate clients across multiple industries. This role will lead a technical team (around 5-6 members) and work closely with business consultants to translate complex business issues and pain points into practical, high-impact AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation of AI/ML solutions for corporate clients, from problem definition and solution design to deployment and post implementation support.
- Work closely with consulting teams and client stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify AI opportunities, and define solution roadmaps and success metrics.
- Build, manage, and mentor a technical AI team, including junior engineers, data engineers/scientists, and system analysts.
- Establish solution delivery standards, best practices, and reusable components for AI projects (e.g., frameworks, templates, code libraries).
- Oversee technical architecture and integration of AI solutions with clients' existing systems, data platforms, and security/governance requirements.
- Drive experimentation and rapid prototyping of AI use cases (e.g., predictive analytics, NLP, computer vision, generative AI, automation) and convert successful prototypes into scalable solutions.
- Ensure solution quality, performance, and reliability through rigorous testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on go-to-market activities, proposals, and client presentations, including solution demos and proof-of-concept design.
- Stay current on AI technologies, tools, and industry trends, and introduce new approaches that enhance the firm's AI offerings.
- Foster a culture of learning, adaptability, and innovation within the AI team.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience (6-8 years) in designing and implementing AI / machine learning / data-driven solutions in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience across the AI solution lifecycle, including data preparation, model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Solid understanding of AI/ML technologies and platforms (e.g., Python-based ML stacks, cloud AI services, MLOps tools, LLM / GenAI platforms).
- Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring on/offshore technical teams, with the ability to grow talent from junior staff to senior technical roles.
- Strong solution architecture skills, including experience integrating AI solutions into existing enterprise systems and workflows.
- Experience working across multiple industries (e.g., financial services, retail, real estate, public sector) and adapting AI solutions to different business contexts.
- Strong proficiency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear business language.
- Proven track record in collaborating with consulting or business teams to translate business problems into technical requirements and solution design.
