The University of Jamestown seeks a full-time faculty member to join our team in the department of Business, Accounting, and Economics on campus in Jamestown, North Dakota. We are searching for candidates who are enthusiastic scholar-educators, who are student-oriented, and who have a passion for teaching. The position will begin in the fall of 2026. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include on-campus teaching of a variety of accounting courses, depending on departmental needs and faculty interest and expertise. Courses include, but are not limited to:
Principles of Accounting
Income Tax Accounting
Intermediate Accounting
Government/Not-for-profit Accounting
Auditing
Advanced Accounting
Advise and mentor undergraduate students, including internships and career preparation
Participate in departmental, school, and university service (e.g., committee work, program development, community engagement)
Collaborate on interdisciplinary initiatives, particularly with our Master of Business Administration program

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in accounting or business administration.
Candidate must hold the CPA credential.

Preferred Qualifications:
Terminal degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
Additional professional designations (CMA, CIA).
Teaching experience at the higher education level.
Significant professional experience in public or managerial accounting.
