Being a multifaceted department, we serve as an internal support structure to our integrated clinic's daily operations, as well as a student-facing resource that empowers students to access care at SHAC.
Internally, Administrative Services manages daily support operations, including: medical records, business operations, marketing, communications, insurance coordination, software support, quality assessment, purchasing and billing. This administrative support empowers our Counseling Services, Health Services, Dental Services, and Health Promotion departments to focus on providing exceptional care and outreach to each and every PSU student accessing SHAC services.
When interacting with students, the Administrative Services team executes scheduling, receptionist duties, marketing communications, education, and outreach. This crucial work creates an accessible and approachable experience for students who are independently navigating their own healthcare.
The Assistant Director for Business Operations is responsible for the daily oversight of SHAC Administrative Services, providing assessment for all departments within SHAC, and HR Coordination.Minimum Qualifications • BA/BS from an accredited university.
• 2 years of direct management and supervisory experience including ability to hire, fire, impose progressive discipline and review employees.
• 2 years of experience managing business operations in a complex business or higher education organization
• Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures.Preferred QualificationsRecommended Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of Assessment practices
• Experience creating and coordinating survey initiatives to evaluate programs.Key Cultural Competencies
