Overview

Belmont Country Club is seeking a highly motivated and service driven Assistant Clubhouse Manager to support the leadership, operations, and member service excellence of our Clubhouse and pool food & beverage programs. This hands-on leader will help ensure that member and guest expectations are consistently exceeded while fostering a collaborative, team focused work environment.

The successful candidate will combine outstanding hospitality skills with strong operational experience in upscale private clubs, resorts, or fine hospitality environments.

Experience Required

• 5-8 years of experience in an upscale hospitality environment; private club or resort experience required.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver exceptional member service.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; familiarity with graphic design software preferred.

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for budgeting and reporting.

• Valid driver's license required.

Essential Responsibilities

Member & Guest Experience

• Ensure exceptional, professional service standards for all clubhouse and pool F&B operations.

• Greet members and guests regularly and proactively address service concerns.

• Develop innovative programs and events that enhance the member experience.

Operational Leadership

• Assist in leading all daily clubhouse operations, excluding administrative offices.

• Manage long-range staffing needs for clubhouse and pool F&B departments.

• Oversee locker room service quality, cleanliness, and supply levels.

Financial Management

• Assist in developing the annual operating budget for clubhouse and pool F&B.

• Monitor monthly performance versus budget and take corrective action as needed.

• Approve product invoices and maintain records for events, house counts, food covers, and daily business volumes.

Staff Management & Training

• Lead, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all clubhouse front and backofhouse staff.

• Develop written standard operating procedures and performance expectations.

• Ensure proper onboarding and ongoing development for all team members.

Compliance & Safety

• Enforce all state, federal, and local regulations related to wage and hour laws and the service of alcoholic beverages.

• Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, preventive maintenance, and energy management standards.

Events, Marketing & Collaboration

• Help plan and approve internal F&B marketing promotions.

• Attend appropriate Board and committee meetings.

• Work closely with fellow department heads on clubwide projects and initiatives.
